I THINK he is a member on here but I forget? And yes that is a really nice car.

I was there for a few hours, then left around 12:30 cause I had to work at one, ended up bringing the truck...lol

ya the turnout was good.  I regret not making the effort to try and meet some new people though.   however this bbq just made me dislike king even more.

I am sorrry you feel this way, Why?

Cause maybe you paid $10 for one brat.....

It made it feel more like another way for King to profit and not so much like a shop promotion event.

I liked last years dyno day a bit better...but what are you gonna do.

Maybe you can use this for future bbq's but this is my oppinion along with the oppinions of others too.

Good points
-turnout
-quality cars
-lots of dynos, dyno setup(projector etc)

Bad points
-Shirt seems like it's cheap quality and the good sizes ran out and from what i heard the people that came a little later didnt even get a shirt at all
-The food was dissappointing. Burgers were gone asap $10 for a brat and corn and a soda.   that's $4 worth of food.
-Raffle seemed a lot worse then last year.

Those are pretty much the main points.   If you take this meet minus the $20 registration then you would have good meet.  I mean i'm sure you guys made enough money off the dynos to pay for plenty of food and shirts for everyone.   I'm also sure that king isnt struggling enough to be able to provide free food and drinks and shirts for a meet.  Or at the very least free drinks with how hot the weather was.   If Suja can provide 200 people with free food and drinks all day then king shouldnt have had a problem.   Especially if you are paying $10 for a meal voucher you should at least get what you paid for.  King has always had the reputation of being a good quality shop but aslo an over priced shop.  You can argue you get what you pay for etc... which is fine but then you take into account that you pay $10 for a shirt that definately costs less.  Since i can get a shirt like that made for $3-4 and you pay $10 for food that costs way less ... it just makes it feel like you guys are trying to make money off of us.

End rant.

I agree for a shop promotional/ meet event the shop should expect to take a loss and not be trying to make profit.
